Commission a Portrait Deposit (Black and White)

1. Booking & Payment

All commissions require a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure a booking in my commission queue. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

The remaining balance will be invoiced once your artwork is complete and approved. Final payment must be received before the artwork is shipped or released.

2. Reference Photos

Clients are responsible for providing clear, high-quality reference photos at the time of ordering. The quality of the final artwork is directly affected by the quality of the reference images provided.

If suitable reference images are not supplied, I reserve the right to request alternatives or decline the commission.

3. Artistic Style

By commissioning me, you acknowledge that you are familiar with my artistic style. Artistic interpretation is part of the creative process, and minor variations from reference photos are to be expected.

I do not replicate other artists’ styles.

4. Revisions

Minor adjustments may be requested during the approval stage. These include small refinements such as light tonal or detail changes.

Major alterations (including changes to pose, subject, or composition) requested after work has begun may incur an additional fee or may not be possible.

5. Turnaround Time

Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on workload, complexity, and health considerations.

As a chronically ill artist, I always strive to meet estimated timescales, but delays may occasionally occur. If this happens, clients will be kept informed.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun, as they cover time and materials already invested.

If a commission is cancelled before work has started, a refund may be issued at my discretion.

7. Shipping

Artwork will be shipped only after final payment has cleared.

Shipping times may vary depending on destination. International buyers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes charged by their country.

8. Copyright & Usage

The artist retains full copyright to all artwork created.

Artwork may not be reproduced, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written permission. I reserve the right to display completed commissions on my website and social media unless otherwise agreed in writing.

By placing a commission order, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
